Ken received a  B.A. in Sociology and Psychology from Calvin College and graduated from Grand Valley State University with an M.B.A. in Marketing and International Business in 1991. He is also a six-time author of medical management books and has contributed numerous articles to multiple professional journals.
Ken Hekman
is known for his practical ingenuity when it comes to helping physicians solve business problems. He has served thousands of physicians in over 400 medical practices nationwide, and in developing countries on five continents. Ken’s extensive background in the healthcare and medicine industry uniquely qualifies him to coach healthcare executive leaders, offering them relevant and purposeful direction.

Ken has established a national reputation for original strategic thinking in the medical group practice industry for over 25 years. In the past seven years, about 20% of his time has been devoted to developing medical services in developing countries. In Romania, his strategic planning efforts produced a sustainable multi-specialty clinic that models integrity, leading the Mayor of Pitesti to pay this high compliment: “You are changing the way we do medicine and the way we do business in this country.”
